Newburgh Open Studios: Featuring Works by Ophra Wolf and Cody Rounds.
Saturday September 24th , 11am-9pm
Sunday September 25th, 12-6pm
The Dress Project is an evolving work by dancer Ophra Wolf based on interviews with 20 women from the City of Newburgh about one special dress in their wardrobe. On the way to a performance based on the stories and dresses of the women, Ophra is presenting an interactive installation that allows you to experience the dresses, explore the stories and contribute to the research.
The Dress Project is a commission made possible with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Governor Andrew Cuomo and the New York State Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.
